At Geetanjali International School, we follow age-appropriate eligibility criteria to ensure that each child is placed in the right learning environment for their development stage. Below are the key eligibility requirements for admission:

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Early Years (Nursery, LKG, UKG)

Age Requirement: Children applying for Nursery should be at least 3 years old by June 1st of the academic year.

Progression: For LKG, children should be 4 years old, and for UKG, they should be 5 years old by June 1st.

Grade 1

Age Requirement: Children applying for Grade 1 should be at least 6 years old by June 1st of the academic year.

Subsequent Grades

Proportional Age Requirement: For each subsequent grade, children should meet the age requirement proportionally. For example, children entering Grade 2 should be 7 years old by June 1st, and so on.

Additional Requirements

Previous Academic Records: For admissions into higher grades, parents are required to submit the child’s previous academic records (report cards/transcripts).

Transfer Certificate: If the child is transferring from another school, a transfer certificate must be provided.
